Commitment to our communities.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of our employees, clients and communities.
The culture of giving is embedded in GH Phipps Construction, part of the legacy left by our founder and philanthropist Gerald H. Phipps
To mark our 60th anniversary, GH Phipps launched our 1-60-1952 volunteer program in 2012, to promote volunteerism and giving back to the community. Which means we set an goal to volunteer 1,952 hours across 60 organizations every 1 year. In our first year, employees quickly surpassed that benchmark donating 3,577 hours to almost 80 organizations along the Front Range.
1-60-1952 continues into our 69th year and be sustainable well into the future, with a blend of company sponsored events and individual employee choice – from participating in charity bike races or coaching youth sports teams, to raising funds or building sweat equity in non-profit and religious organizations.
It’s simple: The community supports GH Phipps by giving us the opportunity to build some of the region’s most important structures: facilities for healthcare and healing, higher education and K-12, civic pursuits, spiritual pursuits, and buildings where people live. In return, we support our communities.
1-60-1952 grew out of the company’s values and mission to enrich the lives of our employees, clients and communities through making a positive difference where we live and work — whether it is volunteering, contributing funds, or serving as board members or trustees. It all comes down to one simple thing: We give where we live.
