Ivinson Memorial Hospital – Emergency Department Renovation and Addition

The project will be completed in multiple phases. A new ambulance bay will be constructed west of the existing ambulance bay. The current ambulance bay and a new addition will provide a new walk-in entrance and reception area. Then, the existing decontamination room will be replaced, providing direct access from the ambulance bay into the Emergency Department corridor. A new enclosed courtyard connecting the east corridor to the new waiting area will allow the public access to the rest of the hospital without entering the Emergency Department. Next, the existing Emergency Department will be renovated to provide a new nursing station and thirteen exam rooms. Six exam rooms must remain open during the duration of construction. Finally, a new emergency drive loop road and canopy will be constructed. There will be approximately 8,800 square feet of renovation and 3,200 square feet of the new addition.
