Completed in two phases, the Ivinson Memorial Hospital Second and Third Renovation project enhances the standard of care for Laramie residents.
Phase 1 include remodeling 2,400 square feet of existing office space into a new inpatient rehabilitation suite. Minor renovations were also done to portions of the existing second floor Medical-Surgical Inpatient Unit.
Phase 2 covered the renovation of existing inpatient and extended care units into a new Family Care Center (FCC) and expanding the adjacent inpatient pharmacy. The design program for the FCC includes four new Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) rooms, three pediatric patient rooms, two OB swing rooms, a well-baby nursery, triage, lactation area, three family lounges, an education room, and public lobby spaces. Support spaces include a medical prep room, clean supply, soiled holding, equipment storage, locker rooms, showers and toilets, an on-call room, and new teamwork station.
